How We Play Survival Games In Pc. Our industry is dying. We all know that the so-called “Next Generation” consoles are driving our beloved PCs off the market. I can list the reasons why this is happening I can also list the reasons why it shouldn’t, but for those of you who are interested in reading, I know you already know our plight. It really came to us. Honestly, there are some great PC games that have catered to my gaming needs over the years; A few days ago, I ran into this new world of “console only” games that brought an animal inside me. 

As a side note, I must say that I really have no problem with the Xbox360, PS2, or Wii, except for the fact that they are killing the industry I love… the industry I love. I grew up anyway, to my rude awakening. LucasArt’s new title is “Star Wars: You’ve heard a lot about it.

New Technology Release The Games

Many of you have heard that it will not be released for PC. Now, never. From the trailers and new technology that went into this game, it’s addictive fun and maybe my favorite of the year. According to PC manufacturers, the PC market is not stable enough for this title, in other words, there aren’t enough people to play the game (ironically, it is released on the Nintendo DS and Wii, both high-performance gaming is not a system.)

What happened? I’ve been playing the Star Wars game on PC for ten years now when the X-Wing series and “Rogue Squadron” are out. Now that LucasArts hasn’t even shot the main picture for its most loyal fans released for PC? The situation is very bad. After all, this is just one of many games already excluded from the PC. So is PC gaming over? Should we abandon our fully customizable gaming platform and succumb to the standard systems accepted by corporate stags? I don’t think so.

But what does it take to survive in this industry? How can we achieve our future in the video game world? We need to be smart. We can no longer rely on our superior numbers to guarantee receipt and priority treatment in the biz, so we have to rely on our superior brainpower to win this war. We can no longer rely on unorganized petitions that half of us don’t see anyway.

We need to be organized. We need to understand that we are a very marketable, niche group of people that must be provided by game development companies. Let’s face it, computer gamers are generally not very attractive  I’m not one of those people who can’t set up a regular website when needed, nor one of us who does some serious online surfing every day. 

Who doesn’t want to work for Tom’s hardware the entire time and the list goes on. Yes, there are only a few million of us, and compared to the millions of console gamers out there, we find it difficult to focus on these days. Computer hardware and games, and as a unified society we can be very powerful again. Remember, 500,000 gamers time m 40m equals 20 million, which is enough to make some amazing games.
